Diese Schaufelblattform wurde urspr\u00fcnglich entwickelt, um damit Kaninchenbaue auszugraben. Daher hei\u00dft diese Schaufel im Englischen auch &#8222;Rabbiting Spade&#8220; (dt. Kaninchen-Schaufel). Zus\u00e4tzlich zu dem massiv geschmiedeten Carbon- und Manganstahlblatt ist diese Schaufel auch mit einer extra-langen hitzebehandelten und getemperten T\u00fclle ausgestattet. Der Schaft besteht aus hochwertiger Esche f\u00fcr mehr St\u00e4rke und Haltbarkeit und ist mit einem Metallgriff in YD-Form und einem Querst\u00fcck aus Holz versehen. Die Epoxidharzbeschichtung am Schaufelblatt und an der T\u00fclle sorgt f\u00fcr Schutz gegen Rost und eine minimale Schmutzadh\u00e4sion.Die Schaufel besteht den Belastungstest nach britischer Norm BS 3388 problemlos.Spear &amp; Jackson wurde 1760 gegr\u00fcndet.
